Introduction
Why EURO GEM?
With our ambition to harmoniously develop our events in this new setting, in 2005 we implemented a significant action plan beginning with the creation of EURO GEM.

With the current trend in the global market moving towards gems, polished stones, and jewelry, we wanted to help develop this market in Europe. This was the main reason for launching EURO GEM. In addition, with the gymnasium under construction and no longer available for exhibitors, as well as the required removal of Tent 1, we no longer had the space available in the EURO MINERAL to launch EURO GEM.

We understood that this initiative involved some restructuring and changing certain habits; so we thank you in advance for your understanding and trust. We are building our future together with a coming goal of developing business, which does not, as we know too well, happen overnight.

Endowed with a clear identity, EURO GEM attracts a different audience than EURO MINERAL, which we have been working to grow since 2005 seeking a new clientele, European jewelers and creators (nearly 20,000 mailings). We commit to investing in the promotion, but to make the site truly incontrovertible, we required that all exhibitors selling polished stones and jewelry do so on the EURO GEM site as of 2006.

EURO GEM therefore allows us to better receive our visitors, in a comfortable and pleasant setting. Starting in 2006, the GEM EXPRESS tourist train acts as a shuttle between the 2 sites. We are also looking into modifying the exhibition dates to run Friday to Monday, so that European jewelers can take advantage of the weekly day off.
