Supply and delivery of tallow[Print 5]
The miners light the mine with tallow lampes. The tallow (fat from various animals: sheep, oxen, cattle, horses) is fundamental in the excavation of the mine. Once purified, the fat is poured into moulds. The moulds are weighed and tallied (zoom 1) (by a miner carving a wooden rod) then stocked in the house of the head miners.
