PYRITE on CALCITE
Cambokeels m., Weardale, Durham, England
A short prismatic white crystal with low rhombohedral terminations with fluorite. The terminations selectively overgrown with radiating stripes of minute iridescent pyrite crystals. An unusual occurrence found only once in the mine in or before 1990.
